I always like to have a bit of a reshuffle of the products in my ‘everyday’ makeup routine when a new season hits, especially in the Spring/Summer time that are more season appropriate. Especially as the weather (hopefully) gets warmer. Lately I’ve been really cutting back on the amount I’m spending on makeup and am tending to stick to the basics of what I know works, although I still love trying new products so these are a few products which I have switched out for a change that I’m loving, new and old…
The first change in my routine has been foundation. I’ve recently switched out my holy grail Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define foundation back to the Revlon Colorstay for combination/oily skin. If your looking for a new Spring foundation that still has a good coverage or just one in general, this is the one. This stuff really does keep any oiliness at bay, (which trust me is a task).
For lips, as you may know I have been loving this (again) Revlon Ultra HD matte lipcolor in the shade ‘Embrace.’ Although it isn’t the shade I originally thought it was, I think I accidentally found a more wearable toned red that I tend to shy away from.
As you can see this beauty has been well loved. It’s my go to natural everyday lip choice at the moment when I’m not going for anything bright. The formula is so nice and creamy too but actually lasts quite well. For £3 you can’t go wrong!
Beautonomy very kindly let me pick out another one of their palettes this month and this time I chose to customise my own which was so exciting. I took some screenshots (below) so it is easier to see the process but you can pick everything from the design, pan size and shades. I went for this colourful design which is so cute. Their palettes are such good quality that would make a lovely gift.
What products are you reaching for this Spring?
