As you may have seen, I recently had a very exciting order from Topshop arrive of products I’ve picked as becoming a part of their community of Brand Fans. Which I still can’t get over, SO overwhelmed and grateful! After discontinuing their original beauty line earlier last year, the old favourites are now back in sleek packaging, plus so many new additions to Topshop’s Beauty range full of affordable, cruelly free products. The products range from £5-£16 which is so important for me with a student budget. The new range has a more elegant, minimalist look in matte black and gold which I’m living for. There are makeup-bag staples such as liquid foundations, concealers, pressed powders and long-wear liquid lipsticks (my personal favourite.) I wanted to do a blog post on some of my favourite products I’ve tried so far in the new range! They also still have an up to 70% off sale so I’d hop on over and have a nosey!!
*Longwear Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Adore.’ – If you are after a weightless feel and velvety finish that lasts, this Liquid Lipstick is the one. Recently I’ve been staying away from the matte lip as my lips get so dry in the Winter but this formula feels so comfortable on the lips and is non drying. It’s available in 8 gorgeous shades. ‘Adore’ is the perfect nude. I love the weighty feel of the packaging and the fact that the shade on the outside is exactly the same as the inside. I think it might be lined though so you won’t see when its running out. This lipstick contains flecks of gold glitter, perfect for the evening or an occasion so keep in mind this might not be one for everyday!
*Matte Bronzing Powder in ‘Mohawk’ – This bronzer creates a natural tanned coverage that looks and stays matte throughout the day. I find it difficult to find bronzers that are right for my pale skin so I love how this is natural looking. I chose the shade ‘Mohawk’ which is more cool toned. The packaging is also MAGNETIC and comes with a mirror. I sat opening and closing it for the rest of the day once I’d opened it haha.
*Glitter Eye Shadow in ‘Beauty Queen.’ – This sequin finish glitter eye shadow creates a stardust effect with the light-reflective formula. Topshop have so many different finishes and shades of single eyeshadows so I’d definitely have a browse. The glitter ones are available in 9 other stunning shades. These would look fab popped in the centre of the eye or used in a cut crease look. I love the mirror effect on the packaging of this too. I just love it all!
I’m so excited to be sharing more on their Beauty Line soon!
