Currently, this Autumn I’ve been opting for a very natural look and have been more about letting my skin breathe which I’ve been enjoying. In fact, I think I’ve been going for less than what I did in Summer bizarrely! I have also made a few new product discoveries too! I’ve been opting for a neutral lip, warm eye and matte base whilst keeping bronzed. Ya girl is still living her pale life. All the products I’ve been using and loving are all drugstore too! If you know me, you know I love my drugstore products.
Onto the products:
Foundation – Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation £9 (shade F2)
Concealer – Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19 (shade ‘extra fair’)
Setting Powder – Maybelline Master Fix Powder £8.99
Brows – Revolution Pro Brow Pomade £5 (shade ‘medium brown’)
Bronzer – *Phase Zero Bronzer in the shade ‘hidden agenda’ £7.50
Mascara – Rimmel Scandaleyes Wow Wings Mascara £6.99
Lips – Makeup Revolution Nudes Collection Matte in the shade ‘Buff’ £3
Foundation / My previous post is a full review of this foundation so I won’t go into detail but this stuff is AMAZING. I have been so impressed and it has quickly become my new everyday foundation.
Concealer / I can’t remember a time when this concealer hasn’t been in my everyday routine. I now use the shade ‘extra fair’ however which they brought out a few months ago as the shade ‘fair’ always oxidised on me a tad so thank you Collection for brining out another fairer shade!
Setting powder / This is a fairly new product for me and I’d definitely recommend! Before I was using the Rimmel Stay Matte but I’m finding a loose powder sets my makeup better and locks it into place all day which is rare for me with combination skin. So much so I don’t actually use setting spray!
Brows / I recently switched from using the Makeup Revolution brow pomade to the Revolution Pro one (which I think used to be the same as the old Freedom one) and I have to say, the formula of this one is SO much better. It is so creamy and easy to apply. For £5 I can’t see myself switching again to any other! LOVEEE.
Bronzer / This bronzer is a new product from Phase Zero which I tested out for the first time last week! I think I might have been a tad ambitious as I didn’t realise just how pigmented it was so I’d go light handed haha but I love the shade and finish. The packaging is also a plus for me being compact and with a decent sized mirror! I have also been popping this bronzer on my eyes too as an eyeshadow! You can get £10.00 off your first purchase at Love Me Beauty using the code AMELI2088352.
Mascara / I’m not usually a fan of Rimmel mascaras but they have done good with this one! It adds volume and length to the lashes and also nicely fans them out. I love the shape of the wand too which makes it easy to apply and the ‘wing’ effect it gives your lashes.
Lips / I still can’t get over the fact that this lippy is just £3! As you may know I’m a big fan of Makeup Revolution (if you couldn’t already tell from this post alone) but I’d not tried any of their matte liquid lips until I saw this one in Superdrug the other day! The shade ‘Buff’ is such a pretty your lips but better shade which lasts pretty much all day. It goes on like a gloss but it dries down matte. Definitely going back to pick up more shades of these.
Have you tried any of these products? Let me know what products your loving at the moment, I’d love more recommendations!
