It’s impossible to eat just one of these rather delish, moreish biscuits from my childhood! Especially ‘dunked’ in a good old British cuppa! A few days ago when I fancied something to do, I had a go at baking these ginger biscuits and thought I would share with you how I made them for this months bake! If you’ve run out of biscuits in the house and fancy something to grab for a snack, these crumbly but soft in the middle biscuits with a kick of ginger that are super quick and easy to make are perfect! These also don’t require much skill or need any fancy ingredients to make so anyone can have a go at baking them!
Recently I’ve been trialling and testing a whole load of mascaras hoping and praying that I would find one that ticks all the boxes. Spending money on trying 10 different mascaras is going to amount to quite a bit of money going down the drain which to a student like myself can’t be money wasted. I’m going to hold my hands up and say that not one of the mascaras that I have tried have really wowed me but I just kept on mixing and matching between them each day until I was having a browse in my local drugstore a few days ago and saw that the new L’OREAL Paradise Extatic Mascara had been FINALLY realised in the UK from America. After seeing so many great reviews from American bloggers & vloggers on this mascara I was SO excited to finally get my hands on it. Along with the mascaras on the stand there was also the new brow pomades which I was temped by but managed to restrict myself to just the mascara even though the packaging was absolutely gorgeous! I thought I would share with you my opinions now I have had chance to try it out myself and potentially save you a bit of cash if you’re struggling to find a mascara that’s right for you! View Post
I hope you are all well! I can’t believe its August already, where did July go!? I came back from my holiday in Menorca a few days ago and am already wishing I was back in the glorious sunshine unlike the typical British weather I was greeted to! Coming back from my holiday has thrown me off my usual routine, I feel as though I haven’t sat down and written a post in what seems like forever even though I was only gone a week! While I was away on my holls I managed to catch a slight natural tan but nothing that noticeable unfortunately so this year I thought I would brave it and try out a self/fake tan in the hope of looking a bit less pale this Summer. I’d heard great things about the Garnier Summer Body Lotion so I decided to go for this one and picked one up in the hope of achieving a ‘naturally sun kissed look.’ I must say I have been impressed with the results so far and thought I would share with you all the ins and outs of my self tanning routine that I have been doing recently and everything you need to know on how to achieve a natural looking tan without having to jet of to a place in the sun! I hope you are all well! Recently, I have been trialling and testing various different brow products and ways to fill in my brows but it has only been until recently that I have found the ‘perfect’ (according to my taste) quick and easy brows using brow stencils that are equal on both sides, which is something I always struggled with and the products that I’ve been loving using. Before I started doing this new found brow routine, on a morning it was always a struggle trying to make both my brows the same and making sure one wasn’t darker than the other (remember eyebrows are sisters, not twins my loves) but I find my brows so much easier to do now which has taken a good 5 minutes out of my daily makeup routine which is fab. I have also switched up the product I use to fill in my brows which has also made my brow look a whole lot better and fuller. This method is great if you have thinner brows or any sparse areas but it should also work if you have thicker brows. Trust me, I’ve tried various brow powders and brow gels but I’ve finally settled with this product and this routine (whoop whoop) I hope you enjoy…
I hope you are all well and are having a fabulous weekend! As you can probably tell recently, I have been really enjoying sharing more of my baking on my blog (see the new ‘baking’ category in the menu bar to see my recent bakes) so for this week’s post, as another baking post was due for this month I thought I would share with you how I made this classic Victoria Sandwich, perfect for a birthday, afternoon tea or a weekend bake! Although I am by no means an expert at baking, I love getting creative in the kitchen and this super scrumptious cake was so easy to bake so anyone can have a go at making it, plus most importantly it was rather delish! I hope you enjoy my lovelies…
