I can’t believe we are over half way through this year already. It will be Christmas before we know it! As it’s been a bit of a while since my last one of these I did in May, I thought it was about time I did another rounding up any bits of news to look back on…
Uni Photography Degree
Since my last roundup post, there has been an update on the uni course I am hoping to take as my local uni have now introduced a photography course this year which I’m so so pleased about! I thought I was going to have to do photography through the uni’s fine art degree which would include a foundation year but the new course will allow me to solely do photography from the start which I’m so looking forward to once I finish college. Fingers crossed they have a good intake this year!
A Trip To Center Parcs
A few weeks ago you may have seen that me and my family went to Center Parcs at Whinfell Forest from Monday to Friday which was lovely and was only a short journey. The Monday we went was my sisters birthday so when we arrived we played some mini golf which was fun. The rest of the week went so quickly but we managed to fit quite a few activities in. The sunset at the lake on an evening was so beautiful. We didn’t see much wildlife while we were there though, perhaps it was the time of year!
Another Positive X-Ray Result
I’ve recently been for my six monthly x-ray at the hospital which soon came around. Thankfully it was positive news again that my spine curvature has remained the same degree which means I still don’t need surgery which is a big relief.
Exploring The New Forest
I was lucky enough to go on another holiday this summer down to the New Forest last week with my family and the dog. We’d never been before so we spent the first few days having a look around the villages and going on walks. It was amazing to see the horses so close wandering around. There were even a few donkeys walking the streets! My favourite day was visiting Lepe Beach which was such a beautiful spot, even if we did all get blown about! We met up with family from Somerset while we were there too for one of the days which was nice as we don’t get to see them often. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too grand that day so we had a mooch around the charity shops which was still fun. If we go back in the future, I would love to visit the zoo.
I hope you are having a fabulous Summer!
