Early this morning, another very exciting Topshop order arrived containing my picks for this month as being a part of Topshop’s community of brand fans. (which I still can’t believe!) I couldn’t wait to try the products out before doing my makeup today, shoot some photos of them and share with you my thoughts, similar to the post I did last month! All of these products are cruelty free and aren’t too expensive which I feel is important as a student myself.
Invisible Powder In ‘White Lies’ – £11.25
The packaging definitely didn’t disappoint again this time, especially the packaging for this powder! (which now has my fingerprints all over it haha.) I was intrigued to try this powder to see if the ‘invisible’ concept did indeed work. I usually use a fine loose powder but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It really is ‘magic’ which is suitable for all skin tones. It set my makeup in place nicely and reduced shine throughout the day. As I’m writing this, I’m beginning to get oily again but this also happens with my other powder. The perks of combination skin eh.
Chameleon Lip Gloss In Epaulette – £9.00
Recently in these Winter months I’ve been keeping well away from the matte lip as my lips get so dry easily. I’ve been opting for a gloss or cream lipstick (hint for the next product) which I never normally go for! I love the high shine, iridescent effect of this gloss which drumroll…isn’t sticky! I think I’ve finally found the perfect gloss. This is available in four other shades too.
Cream Lipstick In Nevada – £7.50
This lipstick paired with the gloss go together so well, almost as if I planned it haha. I wouldn’t say it was long lasting as after my lunch it had vanished but that could be due to the gloss and I was expecting it with it not being matte. It did glide on nicely however and is perfect for everyday. For £7.50 though I don’t think I would recommend this one.
