I can’t believe we are already two weeks into December! It’s truly time for all the festivities and of course, the return of the falling snow on the blog. To me it feels as though Christmas this year seems to be going so fast, I need to get myself more organised! It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas (pardon the pun) and after spending a good part of last weekend sorting out decorations we’ve accumulated over the years, this year we decided to buy some new, fresh decks to put up which were so affordable. Even though you’ve probably all got your decorations up, I thought I would do a short post to share the bargains encase any of you are thinking of getting some new decks for this/next year for your tree!
We decided to get the tree decorations from our local B&M which came in a big pack of 51 baubles for just £9.99. In the set you get the baubles, with each layer containing smaller baubles so you get a variety of sizes plus the star to go on top. We ended up having to chop off some of the top of our tree to fit the star on but hey ho haha, at least it’s artificial so we know it will fit next year. As you can see, picked by my mum, we’ve gone for a red and gold theme paired with the warm white lights which I will go onto next. Considering the price, the variety of the baubles and design are so lovely and they will hopefully last year on year from now on! There were other colour combinations too. I also love this rose gold set for £4.99 for 40 which are gorgeous. I know Primark have also done some beaut baubles this year if you don’t have a B&M store near you.
For the lights, we also switched these up (I’ll stop now) from coloured to the white. We actually got these from Lidil for £9.99 and they are the best lights we’ve had! Every year we end up having some faff over the lights and if we’ve wound them round equally. These lights come with a hoop which you attach at the top of your tree and from it has the lights which hang down equally. Jobs a good’un! Hopefully I’m not the only one who has never seen these before?
I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas so far!
