IMG_8652

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well and are having a lovely week! A few days ago when I was having  browse in Superdrug as per usual, I picked up a few new nail polishes as there was a 3 for 2 offer across all cosmetics (which is still available now) and who doesn’t love a bargain!? Anyway, as it’s now Spring I thought I would do a bonus blog post this week and share with you my top five nail polishes that are perfect for this time of year including the ones that I picked up recently that I have been absolutely loving, even though you could also rock these anytime of the year! They are also all under £5 so anyone can go and pick these up from the drugstore! I hope you enjoy my lovelies…

To start off, the first nail polishes I’m going to be talking about are the ones that I picked up a few days ago which are the two Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints in the shades Eat my dust and ‘Freestyle.’ I had been on the hunt for a pinky nude nail polish for quite some time after seeing quite a few people wearing them so as soon as I came across the nail polish in ‘Freestyle‘ it was going straight in my basket! It’s such a gorgeous, natural shade that was just what I was looking for. This ‘speedy quick dry‘ range of nail polishes are obviously meant to dry fast which was an added bonus because it’s always a bit of a pain waiting for your nails to dry and I always end up smudging a nail if they still haven’t dries properly, what a mare! Anyway, most nail polishes claim that they are fast drying but let me tell you, these nail polishes in this range actually do dry super quick! I was honestly amazed at how fast it took for them to completely dry. The only thing I would say is with these that I would recommend you apply two coats but that isn’t an issue as the nail polish dries fast in between coats. The other shade I picked up is  ‘Eat my dust’ which I would describe as a pale pastel blue shade which is equally as pretty! I have had ‘Freestyle‘ on my nails (shown in the photo below) for quite a few days now and none of my nails have chipped which is also fab! I would definitely recommend these my loves!!

As you can probably tell, I am a bit of a Barry M fan when it comes to nails because I just think they are such affordable and such great quality so no surprise that my next favourite nail polish for Spring is this Barry M Matte Nail Paint in the shade Miami Pink’  which is a true bright barbie pink. This is again a lovely shade that adds a nice pop of colour which is perfect for around this time of year. I love the fact that this nail polishes dries matte as it doesn’t chip easily and you don’t need to apply two coats. This polish also lasts a good amount of time without chipping so overall it’s a winner for me and I couldn’t not mention in in my top five!

Finally the last two nail polishes I’m going to mention are these Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine By Rita Ora in the shades Go Wild-er-ness’ which is a pastel purple and ‘Oragina’ which is a peachy, light orange shade. I also think Rimmel have a great range of nail polishes so I would definitely recommend you have browse at their range. I would say you have to do two coats with these as they aren’t as pigmented if you only do one coat but they are both gorgeous shades for springtime. I also love the floral design on the packaging which also reminds me of Spring!

Also, I just want to say, at the end of my previous post I mentioned that it was my one year blog anniversary and since writing that post we have hit 700 followers!! You guys honestly blow my mind, I am beyond grateful for all your kindness on my blog. It was only in February when I hit 600 followers so I still can’t believe it. Thank you so much everyone!!
