Today I thought I’d do a little post to share with you what my favourite lip combination has been recently! A few days ago I decided to try it out and absolutely loved it! If you want to know how to create a lovely pinky coral lip shade for Summer carry on reading…
The products I have been using are the ‘Kate Moss 15 Year Lipstick’ in the shade ‘Boho Nude’ and the ‘Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream’ in the shade ‘Istanbul.’ I have mentioned these products before on my blog as I wear them all the time by themselves. I’d been after a coral shade lipstick for a while and wondered what it would look like if I mixed these two shades together. You don’t have to have these exact products, just any nude lipstick and a pink liquid lipstick will work!
- First I took the Kate Moss lipstick and applied that how I would normally to my lips. Can I just say this lipstick is my holy grail makeup product at the moment! I have never owned a lipstick that I love so much!! If you know me by now, you will know that I have a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick obsession and this has to be my fav! Just look at the packaging!! I must try the rest of the shades that they have in this collection!
Anyway, this is what it looks like with just the Kate Moss lipstick…
2. Next I applied a small amount of the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream on top and voila! You now have a lovely pinky coral lip shade! The thing I love most about this is, as I used the soft matte lip cream, it made my lips go matte but left them still with that creamy texture. If pink isn’t your colour you could try this with other colours, go wild and experiment! I would suggest using a liquid lipstick as you can easily apply that on top of the other lip shade.
This is the end result!! The shade is not too bright, so it is very wearable which I love!
Thankyou so much for reading as always, and I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment below if you’ve ever tried anything like this and if you like my combination!?
I’m going to be away for a few days at the end of this week and I’m not sure if I will have internet connection there (drama strikes) so I’m sorry if I’m not very active then! See you in my next post,
