As today is sadly the last day of the month, I thought I would share with you some things that I bought in May…
I have been after a jacket for a while that was a colour that would go with everything in my wardrobe, so when I came across this grey and white Bomber Jacket in New Look (my favourite shop if you didn’t already know) I fell in love! Although it is classed as a ‘Bomber Jacket’ you can still just wear this as an ordinary jacket.
I know this is a bit of a boring item but it does come in useful if you want to sharpen your favourite lip liner or eye pencil! This was the one I came across in my local Boots store and as it is classed as a ‘makeup’ sharper although I use mine for my lip liners, I believe it can be used for eye pencils aswell. This sharpener also has two sizes to choose from which is useful!
3. Batiste Dry Shampoo in the scent Cherry (200ml) -£2.99
You all probably know by now, but if you’re new I always have a Batiste dry shampoo in my room or in my handbag so I picked up this medium-sized bottle while it was on offer! I got mine in the scent ‘Cherry.’
A new bag was also something that I was on the lookout for. New look and RiverIsland have a good selection of bags so I found this one in Newlook which was just what I was looking for! The bag is mainly neutral colours that would go with everything and has some pretty flower detailed panels. (I’m tempted to say ‘side parts’ but you know what I mean!) You can carry this just how it is or you can use the straps it comes with too. It is always nice to have a choice!
5. Benefit Easiest Nudes Ever Palette -£23.50
If you have seen my ‘Day In The Life Shopping‘ post, you will know that me and my friends got our makeup done at a Benefit counter. I haven’t tried many things from Benefit but it is now my favourite brand! The member of Benefit staff used this palette on me and I really liked the look of it so I treated myself and popped it in my basket! Although the packaging sold it to me, the actual eyeshadows are definitely me in a palette! I would wear every shade which is something that I don’t always find in a palette. There’s always that pesky shade that you probably won’t wear! This might just be me but anyway… the palette has four eyeshadows and two cream eyeshadows which I love also! I might do a full review on this soon so please let me know if that’s something you would like to see!?
6. Maybellie Push Up Drama Mascara -£7.99
Now for the last item! Although I have mixed feelings on this mascara, it is still my favourite drugstore mascara at the moment! As mine was running out I thought I would repurchase it! I got mine in the shade ‘very black.’ If you want to know more about this mascara, I have done a review about it that you can see here. Maybelline have a buy one get second half price offer on at the moment also if you’re interested!
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any future post suggestions you would like to see me do, feel free to leave them down below and I will be more than happy to do them!
